At The Drama Company, we strive to inspire young minds through the transformative power of drama. Our mission is to cultivate creativity, confidence, and teamwork in children aged 6 to 18 years, equipping them with essential life skills beyond the stage.

About The Drama Company
Founder and teacher
Joy has been teaching drama to children aged 3 to 18 for many years and firmly believes that drama is about much more than just learning to act. She has witnessed the transformation of quiet children into more confident individuals.

Joy has been teaching drama to children aged 3 to 18 for many years and firmly believes that drama is about much more than just learning to act. She has witnessed the transformation of quiet children into more confident individuals.
Joy trained at the London School of Dramatic Arts, completed all LAMDA exams and has extensive acting experience. She recently played the role of Bella in Gaslight at the Little Theatre in Leicester. She has also performed at various venues, including the Stahl Theatre in Oundle, the Wolsey Theatre in Ipswich, the Harborough Theatre in Market Harborough, and the Pomegranate Theatre in Chesterfield.
In addition to her acting career, Joy is the co-founder of Rogue Space Theatre, an independent theatre company in the East Midlands. She also spent many years as the Festival Manager at Nevill Holt Opera Theatre, where she managed the education program.
